Steam Injection was one of the EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery) techniques adopted in PDO to improve the oil recovery from wells. As part of the trials, the steam injection trials were carried out in Amal West, Amal East & Thyfut (South Oman Operational Area).  The project was awarded to Al Turki Enterprises LLC (ATE).

The scope of installation of Water Treatment Plant, Installation of Steam Generators, Flowline Construction (Oil Flowlines, Steam Injection Lines, Fuel Gas Lines), Installation of Manifolds, Installation of interconnecting piping from the Steam Generators to the production manifold and from the well test skid to the production manifold, Well H/U of water supply wells to Water Treatment Plant, Installation of MCP Rooms (2 nos.), Installation of fencing and lighting, Installation of Control Valves and associated civil works like construction of foundations, supports, waste water pits etc. were safely and successfully carried out by Al Turki Enterprises LLC (ATE) to the entire satisfaction of the client (PDO).

The project was completed in a record time without any HSE incidents.  This stupendous achievement was well appreciated by the client, and a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement was issued to ATE.
